Rooting Method for Optimus G F180 L / K / S

Nowadays almost any new Android device that’s coming to the market receives a rooting method way ahead of its official global release and all this thanks to a great Android community that binds together users and developers from all over the world

Here I have some good news all LG Optimus G users. We are now able to root the LG Optimus G with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in an easy way. This guide is not complicated, and won’t brick your phone. However, you should backup your phone every time you want to change your phone settings. Good luck.

Note: This guide works for All models of LG Optimus G like F180/E970/E971/973/E975.

How to directly root LG Optimus G:

1. Download and extract the root tool
2. Enable usb debugging mode
3. Connect your phone
4. Run root.bat
5. Following the steps to make your phone rooted

Once you have completed the steps, your LG Optimus G will reboot, and enjoy.

If the above method doesnt work for you, im sure it will, still if it doesn't.
It means you didnt got the drivers properly installed, now try the method 2.

How to root Optimus G;

1. Download and extract the downloaded file
2. Enable usb debugging.
3. Connect your phone,
4. Open the preloader VCOM folder in the extracted file.
5. Installed the driver.
6. Reboot the PC.
7. Open the 2nd Folder.
8. Open Run.Me
9. Press (1) then Enter.
10. Then look at your device, it will ask you to restore.
11. Select restore now, dont worry your device wont be restore, all data will be intact.
12. Your device should boot up, ENJOY!
